Support Bayview's Food Access Programs

Food insecurity is high right now. Bayview residents face increasing food prices and the delay of essential food assistance benefits (FoodShare in WI). Since the start of October, Bayview has already seen a 15% increase in use of the center's food pantry. We expect numbers to continue to rise in the coming months, especially as the holidays approach.

We don't know when full government food benefits will return. We don't know when food price inflation will plateau. What we do know is that right now is a period of instability for many families, and you can help.

Donor Advised Funds

Donor-Advised Funds allow donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction and then recommend grants from the fund over time. 

Grants made to Bayview through Donor-Advised Funds can be designated in one of two ways:

  • for Bayview to use wherever the need is greatest (unrestricted)
  • for Bayview to use for a specific thematic area that matches the donors' interests, such as educational programming, food access, arts/culture, or the Capital Campaign
