Skill building

Residents can take part in ESL classes that build confidence in navigating education, healthcare, government, and everyday conversations; finance classes and workshops that cover the basics of money management, budgeting, financing and debt; computer literacy classes to strengthen skills, enhance connectedness, and employability; and leadership and neighborhood organizing training, to contribute to a better Bayview.


Health & wellness

Bayview offers a variety of programs that support physical and mental health. Ongoing classes include: Zumba, Zumba Strong, and Bayview Walks.


Social engagement

The strong sense of community at Bayview is enhanced by social programs that connect people to each other and provide for reflection, socializing, and enjoyment. Programs include: Tea and Talk, Senior Bingo and Lunch, and Community Outings and Field Trips. Also popular are Bayview’s arts and culture programs that teach fine arts skills and encourage participants to express themselves and share their culture and ideas with each other. 


Resource & referral

Residents have access to a tremendous amount of assistance with connecting to needed services and supports in the areas of financial assistance, family support, citizenship, food access, energy assistance, and much more.
